Introducing

Oliver Aitken
Born on October 31, 2013 at 5:36 p.m
8 pounds 2 ounces
21.5 inches long

We are absolutely smitten with this little piece of heaven.
The last few days have been the most incredible, surreal moments of our lives.
The miracle of life is all consuming.
Much, much more to come about this tiny one's debut.
For now, I am going to snuggle him up and pray time never passes.

Just so you know,
I will be taking a bit of a blog break to spend some time with my two boys!

I am realizing this time is so precious and I want to make sure to cherish every second!
Thanks for understanding!
See you in a couple weeks!

  13. So, here I was cruising the blogosphere, looking for ideas for my Girls Achievement girls, when I happened upon your blog. I normally wouldn't read such a personal posts, but found myself captivated by yours. The beautiful pictures and description of your little Oliver's birth were so poignant. I was getting all teary and oooh-ing and awww-ing like he was my little grandson. You wrote so beautifully. My husband even asked what I was looking at, and smiled along with me.
Our youngest grandson is in Arizona, and is now 15 mos. I've held him once.
I was around our others as babies, and it's so hard being a long distant grandparent. My d-i-l does a great job of posting on FB so we can participate in watching him grow. I'm so thankful for her.
I just wanted to thank you for myself, and to say how much your family and friends must appreciate what you do.
Also you are uber talented, and I thank you for your fantastic offerings here.
    Wishing you every happiness.
