We have created this great Creation Coloring Wheel activity to help the children get engaged in the scriptures and learning about how Jesus created a place where they can learn to choose the right.

I really loved this talk from Russell M. Nelson.

Death can be seem like such an unknown and scary thing for a lot of people,

but Elder Nelson clearly explains that it does not have to be!

We know so much about what happens after this life thanks to modern day revelation!

I love his in depth explanation of the Plan of Salvation and how we can

find comfort and peace even when we lose someone who is near and dear to us.

I was really inspired by his closing remarks and created the handout above because of it!

I just love this scripture. I think it is such a great reminder, that even in the most trying of times,

we can always find peace from our Savior.

As we encounter a loss in our lives, what a great reminder of always turning to Jesus Christ for comfort.

YOU WERE BORN TO SHINE

I really loved this talk from President Uchtdorf.

I love how he emphasizes the divine birthright of women and explains 

that we were sent to this earth with a special mission and purpose.

We can learn so much about our identity from President Uchtdorf's words!.

INDIVIDUAL WORTH BOOKMARK

One of the suggestions in the lesson is to complete experience #1 for Individual Worth

 in the personal progress book.

The activity lists a number of scripture references for the girls to read, and then encourages

them to write down what they learned about their relationship with Heavenly Father.

I created this bookmark as a place they could write down their feelings and use as a future

reference and reminder of their individual worth.

Come Follow Me : What is the Purpose of Life?

I have been so touched and inspired as I have been studying the "Come Follow Me" lesson outline,

"WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF LIFE?"

One thing I loved about reading the talks and information provided on LDS.org,

was it emphasized how we can work towards fulfilling our purpose in life NOW.

each. and. every. day.

One thing I have a huge testimony of is each young woman is SO special and unique.

Heavenly Father has put us each on this earth to learn and grow through individual experiences.

He gives us these experiences so that we might BECOME who He intends us to be.

A lot of the resources for this lesson outline discuss the principle of "becoming".

I love the reminder of "BEE"COMING who Heavenly Father knows we can BEE!

One of the lesson suggestions is to read the beatitudes and look for qualities to develop in this life.

Above is a simple bookmark with each of the beatitudes listed.

This bookmark could be printed off for the young women and used as a reminder of 

how they should strive to be more like the Savior each day.

LIFE RESOLUTIONS

I loved the talk from President Uchtdorf on regrets.

He talks about setting goals and resolutions to put us on a track to happiness today.

The handout above could be given to each young women to write down 

things they want to do "more" and "less" of in their lives. 

After filling out the card, it would be a great handout to put somewhere they 

see often as a reminder of their "Life Resolutions"

I have had some people ask me for handouts specifically for the lesson outline, 

"How can I find comfort when someone I know dies?"

The majority of the quotes I made came from the talk,

"Because I Live, Ye Shall Live Also" from Elder Shayne M. Bowen.

If you haven't already read the talk, read it.

It is a wonderful message of hope and gives great insight to the plan of salvation.

I decided to also recreate some of my favorite LDS quotes about the plan of happiness.

I am getting really excited for the youth lesson curriculum for the month of February.

It's all about the Plan of Salvation.

As I served a mission, this was probably one of my most favorite 

things to share with the people I had the opportunity to teach.

I decided to get a little head start for the month by making this Plan of Salvation bookmark.

It is all based from Preach my Gospel.

I made it to have two sides---

 The picture diagram being the front, and the scripture references to be the back.

 Feel free to use for the upcoming month and as you are preparing for the Plan of Salvation lessons!
